The University Chemical Laboratory is located on Lensfield Road in central Cambridge, close to both the train and bus stations. Directions and maps are provided below.

By air: The nearest airport to Cambridge is Stansted, which is a Ryanair hub for most European cities. There are regular buses and trains from the airport to the city centre.

By car: Parking in Cambridge is limited, so if you are planning to drive, you should park at one of the Park and Ride car parks and take one of the frequent buses into the centre.

By train: Cambridge is well connected by train, and the station is close the Department. To find out train times, please visit The National Rail Website. From the station, you can walk (using the map below), which takes approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, there are frequent buses and taxis, both of which depart from just outside the station.

By bus: Cambridge can be reached by cross-country bus services run by National Express and Stagecoach X5. These services stop at Parkside or the main bus station at Drummer Street (see map below).
